    Outstanding! Well done, Judge Broomes!

But my sinister and evil inner self definitely enjoys the idea of creating a law to protect one class of people, then arbitrarily expanding that law to force the protected to integrate with their predators while they are naked and most vulnerable. Next will the Democrats expand Affirmative Action to protect the KKK?

Federal Judge Slams Department of Education's Bizarre Interpretation of Title IX and Transgenderism

Federal District of Kansas Judge John Broomes (in Wichita, Kansa) *itch slaps the Biden Administration's proposed changes to Title IX.

Judge John W. Broomes of the US District Court for the District of Kansas (Trump appointee) issued a scathing 47-page opinion while enjoining enforcement of the new rule in four states: Alaska, Kansas, Utah, and Wyoming. Judge Broomes found the rule was 1) contrary to law, 2) the Department of Education lacked congressional authority to make the rule because of the Major Questions Doctrine, 3) the rule violates the Constitution's spending clause 4) the rule violates the First Amendment because it is impermissibly vague and overbroad, and, finally, 5) the rule violates the Administrative Procedure Act because it is "arbitrary and capricious."

Significantly, the purpose of Title IX was to protect “biological women from discrimination in education[;] [s]uch purpose makes it difficult to sincerely argue that, at the time of enactment, ‘discrimination on the basis of sex’ included gender identity, sex stereotypes, sexual orientation, or sex characteristics.” Id., at *12. The DoE’s reinterpretation of Title IX to place gender identity on equal footing with (or in some instances arguably stronger footing than) biological sex would subvert Congress’ goals of protecting biological women in education. The Final Rule would, among other things, require schools to subordinate the fears, concerns, and privacy interests of biological women to the desires of transgender biological men to shower, dress, and share restroom facilities with their female peers. Moreover, to expand sex discrimination to encompass “self-professed and potentially ever-changing gender identity is inconsistent with Title IX’s sex-separation dictates.”
This ruling brings to five the number of federal courts that have enjoined the Department of Education from enforcing its bizarre interpretation in 15 states. The other states not included in this decision are Louisiana, Mississippi, Idaho, Montana, Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, Virginia, and West Virginia.

"Gender affirming care" is a joke! I call it " Gender destroying surgery" or "Gender mutilation". Both are more appropriate.

This American College of Pediatricians will be labelled right wing, and discredited by the left when anyone tries to use it in an effort to thwart child mutilation.

There is too much money being made with this industry to let it die so easily. And too many gullible, virtue-signalling parents willing to destroy their child in order to make themselves feel better about themselves.

On Thursday, the American College of Pediatricians took a significant stand against the effort to trans children. The organization issued a declaration calling for a stop to the promotion of “gender-affirming care” on children suffering from gender dysphoria.

In its statement, the American College of Pediatricians affirms that sex is a fundamental, biological trait determined by genes on the X and Y chromosomes and unalterable by medical or surgical interventions. The organization asserts that recognizing these differences is essential for effective medical practices and sound public policy.

The group criticizes progressive gender ideology as a belief system claiming that sex is insufficient and promotes categorizing people based on subjective feelings or “gender identity.” This ideology has led to harmful and irreversible medical procedures that ignore biological reality and cause immense levels of damage to those affected.

André Van Mol, MD, a family physician, also discussed the problems with “gender-affirming care” being used on children, explaining that “gender dysphoria is a diagnosis whereas transgenderism is an ideology.” He also affirmed that “The natural course of gender dysphoria is desistance by adulthood, conservatively, in 85 percent of the cases, unless it is affirmed.”

Van Mol went on to highlight how other countries have done research finding that the “gender-affirming” model is not only impotent to help children dealing with gender dysphoria, but that it also causes far more harm than good.

I am not "right leaning" on many things - but this issue is certainly one of the things republicans have hit on the nose. Affirming this MENTAL ILLNESS in children and teens is the equivalent of handing a suicidal person a gun. I know many people in the LGB community who are IRATE that "trans" people have latched onto their movement, dragging them and their reputation down at the exact time they were making progress. Hell, you can find plenty of drag performers etc calling these people what they are - mentally ill.

'See You in Court': Biden Policy Nuking Title IX Draws Legal Challenge From ADF

The Biden administration's announcement that it would be replacing biology with ideology to win a few gold stars from science-denying woke culture warriors has already drawn the promise of a legal challenge from Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) on Friday.

The Biden-pursued change to Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 — set to take effect on August 1 — is a "radical redefinition of sex" that "turns back the clock on equal opportunity for women, threatens student safety and privacy, and undermines fairness in women's sports," said ADF Legal Counsel Rachel Rouleau.

Biden's inane version of Title IX removes biological "sex" in favor of "gender identity" and means that biological males can take scholarships meant for women, use women's locker rooms and other private facilities, and be roomed in women's housing such as dorms. Anyone who engages in "wrong speak" on the topic, thanks to Biden's policy, could also face punishment under the new regulation.

The NCAA told the ladies to learn how to accept losing.

Hopefully, the NCAA finds that turnabouts is fair play, although at this point the NCAA has quite a bit of experience at losing.

It's too bad that this is what it takes to right something that is so obviously wrong.
