If asking a billionaire to pay the same tax rate as a Jew, uh, as a janitor makes me a warrior for the working class, I wear that with a badge of honor. I have no problem with that.

The president has been muffing lines all over the place recently. Last week, also peddling his jobs plan at a bridge that won't qualify, he hailed America's building of "the Intercontinental Railroad." You don't seem to hear much about these gaffes in the media for some reason.

That's what happens when the President relies on a teleprompter. I could easily see him reading it as

"If asking a billionaire to pay the same tax rate as a junior..."

So the President thinks he sees "junior" and catches himself at "ju-" and reads what the teleprompter really had on it - "janitor".

And, of course, "ju" sounds like "jew" and the writer of the article tries to make a big deal out of it.

Yes, but W was constantly being picked on by the media for his faux pas and mis-speakings. Obama gets a free pass because he once gave them "tingles."
