      Interesting reads. I think he's mostly right, but whenever anyone from his socio-economic background talks about "building from the ground up" I think of Obama's "fundamentally changing America", and I shudder at that thought.

      If what he's really talking about is, instead of throwing money at a problem (or really, into a non-profit where the admins are probably pulling in six figures) to absolve guilt, take the time to get directly involved and understand the problem, then he's absolutely correct.

        That's the thing I kinda brushed aside as well. If you want to change the current model from the "ground-up", there only seems to be 2 different ways. A more controlling, Statist, command-control system or a more Libertine, Free-Market solution. And lately, I've had all the Progressivism I can stand...
