[KC Chiefs] Playoff vs Ravens

Chiefs finish the regular season 10-6 and face the Ravens. Before looking at the Stats my perception was that Ravens had the top D in the league but I found they were actually pretty comparable.

Chiefs actually have more sacks (38 ) than the Ravens (27). Ravens have forced more interception (19 to 14) and the almost the same amount of fumbles.

Chiefs give up and average of 5.1 yds/play and guess what - so does Ravens. Both D's give up 1st down on 3rd down - 38% of the time.

On offense the Chiefs seem to have a slight advantage.

But you have to wonder which Chiefs will show up - the ones who have been blown out by Denver, or SD or Oak or the team that has beaten SD or pummeled the playoff bound Seahawks, or played competitive against Indy.

Divisional games(losses) can't really compared with anything else. Teams are familiar with each other(like MVC play), and they can take advantage of each and every weakness. Although the playoffs are a whole-nother ball.

On the bright side, we've responded each time we've had a bad game. Hard to tell what caused last week's blowup last week. Weis leaving or looking ahead to the playoffs? Another plus, we're at home and Haley we'll have the team ready to play.

I think we will play competitively unlike last week. The key will be stopping Ray Rice and the running game. I thought are pass defense was been pretty solid all year and hopefully they won't disappoint now.

Bad use of a challenge.......there have been multiple times this season where a call goes the chiefs way and it clearly should not but the other team is out of challenges at taht point.
