Bowe has always had this type of play in him. Focus has been his issue.

My opinion of Cassel has not changed.

Cassel's 22 touchdown passes matches Peyton Manning's total and is only one shy of league leaders Rivers, Brees, Brady, and Eli Manning.

His 4 interceptions are tied for lowest in the league with Brady among quarterbacks to play every game.

He is 4th in the league in quarterback rating behind Vick, Brady, and Rivers.

The guy is obviously improving, and thats all i ask from him, but what has impressed me the most is his leadership, I loved it yesterday when he was throwing blocks down field for Charles. The guy wants to win as much as anybody in the NFL.

my opinion has changed for Bowe and the offensive line (for the positive). He is having a nice season. Whether it is probowl caliber season will be how he finishes it off.

I like what Cassel is doing, the real test will be for when he playing against a good D.

My only concern about KC offense is lack of production out of any other WR than Bowe. They don't really even have a #2 or #3 quality WR on the team. They really need Moeaki to stay healthy and in the lineup.

My real concern is with the D and special teams. There was to many breakdowns yesterday that allowed to many easy scores. Seattle shouldn't have even thought they were in that game. I'm afraid what SD is going to do to them in SD.

Injuries to McCluster and Moeaki hurt the receiving options after Bowe, but I agree that it would be good to add another piece there.

There were already going to be some mental mistakes in the secondary given how young we are there (although I like the talent), and the injuries have really put us in a tough spot. Hopefully we can get healthy, or we will have trouble down the stretch.

Seattle does have good special teams play, but there is no question that the Chiefs need to improve there.

Cassel has played well and is improving IMO.

Bowe over the last month has showed the qualities and skills everyone already knew he had and is earning my praise with every snap.

Cassel is definitely coming along. He still has a lot to improve on, but he has been solid most of this season. His pocket presence is better, he is escaping sacks, he is throwing better passes, he has a lot of heart, and he is not making mistakes. He still tends to lock on to his targets and he gets the happy feet on occasion. Overall, he has surpassed my expectations for this season. Don't change my mind, Cassel.

The defense (and special teams) have really missed John McGraw. He is an unsung hero to the team. He brings a lot of leadership and experience to the secondary as well. The absence of Flowers did not help last week either. Hopefully, they will be back on the field soon.

I thought the offense might struggle at times without McCluster. He is so versatile, and he is so dangerous that it makes opportunities for others to make plays. The offense for the most part has been okay against the average defense. We are going to be needing him with the big division games coming up on the schedule.

Isn't it a coincendence that Cassell and Bowe have shown improvement at the same time? They need each other.

How can you say Cassel is just solid?

He's been great this year, especially the last 5 weeks.

I hesitate to say more than solid because of the soft coverage he has been passing against. We haven't had the toughest schedule of really good pass defenses. Teams have been loading up the box with 7, 8, and sometimes 9 players to stop our run attack, which makes it a lot easier for Cassel to find an open target off the play action or even a regular 7 step drop back. If he has the same kind of numbers against a Steelers or Jets secondary, then I will gladly say more.
