I'm sorry, but I fail to see how costs rising now have anything to do with a government health plan that doesn't take effect until 2014.

I think costs are going up because they HAVE been going up since the early 80's, and will have continued to go up unless some regulations were put into place.

I agree with your second statement but the first is factually incorrect. In 2011, the following items are required 1) The lifetime limits insurance companies previously had has been lifted. 2)Pre-existing condition exclusions have been lifted and 3)The child insurance age has been raised to 26 years regardless of whether they are dependents.
