  • Mike Pompeo needs a new proof reader

In a radio interview with Bruce Haertl this morning (Monday) around 9:15 Bruce asked Pompeo which schools he supported in athletics?

Pompeo reported that his son attended Kansas State and that his wife was a graduate of "Wichita University" so he supported both of those schools.

When asked what his favoritwe sport was, Pompeo said that he loved basketball and that he was really impressed with "T.J. Durley's" time in the mile.

Mike, Mike! Don't let Matt Perrault write the copy for your interviews with sports talk shows.

While I didn't hear said interview I wouldn't be surprised if Bruce went with it because I can guarantee you He will call Durley TJ at-least 5 times this year.

I wouldn't be surprised if the The Bruce said it first.

I would bet that Bruce does not know which is correct J.T. or T.J.

He is a sports reporter not a Mensa member.
Let's hope he can hit a D-1 Curve ball!
