Definitely an amazing win, but I'm still not excited about the season. I feel like everything had to go exactly right in order for the Chiefs to pull this off, and they still brought it down to the final play. I think if you take away any of the following; game being on Monday Night, the game being at New Arrowhead, the rain, then the game would've resulted in a loss.

If we're only going to win six games this year, might as well get one on MNF.

Outside of Charles the offense has little going for them.

Haley and Wiess have work to do. Their decision making is questionable.

Arenas and McCluster on ST will be exciting all year.

Berry needs to do his job. Both TDs were on him.

Cassel HAS to play better.

It's nice to see Arrowhead loud and crazy again. It hasn't been that way for a few years now. Seeing Rivers squirm when his players couldn't hear him was awesome.

It is a nice win. Hopefully this will give the Chiefs some confidence and they can build off it. Next two weeks are winnable opponents.

I hope over the next two weeks Cassell can find a comfort zone to work with in his passing (or lack there of) game. Nothing spectacular because that would be asking too much, just something he can build on. I agree the defense and the special teams won this game. Over the past several years neither one of these groups showed up much. One last thing....I really liked the Chiefs calling a time out after SD called their time out to see what kind of alignment SD set up in.

Just got back from the game last night, and man what a freaking atmosphere. When we are at the top of A game, Arrowhead stadium is best football atmosphere at there and that includes SEC college football. It was just insane how loud and crazy it was at times.
