1st QTR (7-7) J. Charles breaks off a long run for the KC offense in 1st QTR.

KC wastes a good punt return, but can't even move the ball into FG range. Have to punt at the SD 33 yardline and Colquit only hits a 8 yard punt.

I'm glad to see they still want to feed Jones more than Charles :roll:

And I'm really happy they continue to run the sprint draw :roll: It's bound to work at least once over the next five years.

Arenas as a punt returner looks like he's going to provide excitement. If only the OL could protect Cassel a little.

The TE ran a curl route directly into the linebacker. He has to find an open spot to curl into. That's why Tony Gonzales made such a big difference to Chiefs. That wasn't Cassel's fault and he hasn't had much time to throw in a heavy rain.

How many times have you seen Cassel miss an open receiver? Not saying he's going to be great but others have to play too.

The Chiefs will be ok this year as long as the D and ST can keep the offense from having to do much/anything. Or Haley could wake up and use Charles more and Jones less. Looks like they may have figured that part out late in the 2nd.

Yea hes missed McCluster on a little slip from the backfield play with plenty of open space multiple times.....

One play was even on a 3rd down when he went for a covered route.

I cringe anytime Cassel throws the ball more than 5 yards down field. Maybe 8.

His first pass to Bowe was NOT good, but Bowe nearly made it work and nearly got drilled in the process.
