Just saw that Dr. Craig Miner, WSU history professor and the man to go to for any Kansas or Wichita history questions passed away yesterday. His passing is a big loss for WSU, Kansas and Wichita. He loved Wichita, WSU and Kansas. RIP Dr. Miner.

That is really sad news. I had one class with him and throughout my college career, I always measured my teachers to him. One summer a few years later, I was playing tennis at College Hill. He stopped and watched, remembered my name and asked how things were going. Not just a great teacher but a wonderful person.
I'm really saddened by reading of his passing. God Bless Dr Miner. You'll be missed!
