Was an all star??? How many times have we seen this happen, a player is traded from the Royal's and there attitude changes and they start to reach there full potential. The Royals are a cancer it seems like. Even if a good player gets traded here they start to go down hill when they get on the team.

Sorry for the lateness of the topic I was out of country.
The mountains are calling, and I must go.

Olivo is a beneficiary of the Coors Field Effect. If you look, I think you'll find a large disparity in his home/away splits.

Both Royals catchers that weren't good enough end up in the All Star game the next year. Now that's some funny s___.

I always thought Buck would be a good catcher. Him having success this year doesn't surprise me.

John Buck benefited from someone getting hurt. Dude is a horrible catcher.

Miguel Olivo benefited from well dudes not an all star but you know what Id rather have him in KC than Jason Freaking Kendall
