I have no dog in this hunt, but I have always enjoyed playoff NHL.

Mike Emrick has done play by play for years for the NHL and I never hear him discussed much and I think the guy is fantastic and makes an entertaining game heartstopping.

Yea I love playoff NHL as well.


Did you see the commentator guy get emotional last night? I was like wth you aren't playing....I guess he just loves the game to much.

That "commentator guy" was Jeremy Roenick. He was a beloved Blackhawk who fell short of the trophy. He is well liked in the city and apparently still loves the 'hawks. Most fans I have spoken to here thought it was a great moment.

Also the subject of a great line in the movie "Swingers."

Can't wait to check out the parade tomorrow.
