Just want to let everyone know that I have become a convert, and will advocate to bring back Shocker football.
2011 would be a good year to act on it, with it being the 25 year anniversary of when it was discontinued.
Although I much prefer Basketball to Football, I now realize that WSU will not actually being a going concern again without getting Football back.
With tuition rates going up so much and WSU being lower than KU or KSU, if we had football again, we would probably get more students coming to WSU. It would help 'Wichita' grow up, which residents are always crying about.
What I don't like - ADES is almost totally non-communicative about the Athletic Departments goals and progress towards those goals. This makes me have a negative viewpoint towards his style of management. He could solidify a positive attitude from many fans about him IF he would start up Football again.Comment

Yeah I'm not sure how spending an additional 40-100 mil to bring back football makes financial sense at this time and in this climate. But what do I know.Comment
