He should have never came back from Texas. hell he shouldnt have even started the year.

According to a post on another board, the decision was made and communicated to Hillman last night and he asked to manage one more game. For a team that's already out of the race, I have no problem with it.

Royals organization need to decide if they are going to invest the money to compete or not. If not, they need to sell the team to owner and move it to a market that can. Or better yet, MLB needs to do a contraction (of course I know none of these things will happen).

Why just cash in the year, give up, and wait till next year? I'd look for some new managerial blood within the organization or maybe elsewhere and give them a trial run at least. The staff they have now needs to be challenged. A new managerial perspective may be able to get more out of some of their young players that they've been disappointed in. The end of this year is an opportunity to move ahead. It's too early to give up. Maybe Yost is the guy but I'd look at every possibility.
