One of the worst out calls you'll ever see ends the Royals' chances in the 12th. Pods was safe by a MILE!

It was obvious the ump just wanted to get out of the rain. The ball was a good three feet out of the glove when Pods reached 2nd. He was beginning to pop up when the ball was finally caught.

Tampa Bay is probably the best team in MLB right now. Their pitching is at the top of the AL and hitting, one of the best, if not the best, in the AL. Only rub is that they are doing it with a team salary similar to the Royals.

I believe in the last two years, the Royals are now 11-13 when Zack gives up 2 runs or less...

The first few times this happened to Zach (the giving up 1 or 2 runs and losing), I kinda just shrugged it off and said we had an off game at the plate. More and more now though it seems like the team is just taking the day off when he pitches.
