KC Royals - April, May

Brian Bannister is pitching a good game right now. He has allowed 2 hits & a walk in 5 innings of play. The Royals are winning 4-0.

The past couple of days, the Royals have found their offensive groove. Let's hope they keep it for awhile. Guillen has a hot bat and they seem to be using their speed a lot more this season. Podsednik stole his 6th base of the season in today's game.

It's about time they start swiping bases. Pods and Getz should get plenty of chances this year. Jose I believe has all 4 HRs in the last 3 games.

The only thing that worries me about Banny is he's getting a lot of fly ball outs which is the opposite of what he's going for. At some point that's bound to catch up with him.

Banny must have listened to you Sub. His last four outs were 1 GO and 3 Ks. Having said that, he just issued a 4-pitch walk.

And in the weird statistic department, someone on a Royals board said that Kendall has hit safely in every game so far. He has 0 runs scored and 0 RBIs.

That was not the right time to pull Bannister. Any time your (KC's) starter has enough left to face another batter, you let him. Unless Soria is coming in or you need Parrish to face a lefty.
