  • New Andover tornado video

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

    I know there's a few weather enthusiasts/storm nuts here so I thought I'd share.

This was just put on youtube a couple days ago and I've never seen it before. You can hear the Andover police telling people to take cover in the background as the clip progresses.. also the distant roar.

It's kinda cool comparing new videos to old ones and seeing the storm from different angles.

I'm kinda partial to this event, and with severe weather season soon approaching, I thought I'd post a link.

And here's the guy's aftermath video 2 days later after completely gutting his house:

The aftermath of the 1991 Andover Kansas tornado. This is my never before seen original video. Make sure to watch part 1 to see the tornado.
    Deuces Valley.
    ... No really, deuces.

Why do I watch that and think that guy's real name was Egger?

Anyone wanna guess as to whether or not 'Stac' sports a tramp stamp?

I was a little surprised by the guy's calmness and stubbornness (ok, I really wasn't. Par for the course).

Is '91 a little early for a "tramp stamp"?

Dude should have gotten himself and his family in the basement when those huge chunks of debris are first seen about 3 minutes into the vid. His neighbors (the two who ran back into the house upon seeing it), were far smarter. I mean the tornado is getting larger and he says, "I think it's dissipating".

If its getting larger than its coming right at you. I swear we had better get some warmer weather. Its definitely looking as if there is going to be a major pattern change with slight chances of sever weather soon. If we do get any more cold air it does not look like it will have any staying power as the reason it was so cold for so long starts to dissipate.
The mountains are calling, and I must go.

FYI for those that haven't seen the video, it's back up on YouTube here.
