I've always avoided Don Hall. He's just not a good guy. I've known too many people he's been a complete dick to and the few times I was around him I wasn't impressed.

I concur with this. I have had the same experience and heard many others with these experiences. He is not a nice person, IMO.

I can't comment on Hall as a person, but as a PA announcer I think he does a fine job. I've heard enough at other venues that I consider us lucky to have him at the mic.

Not that I have a lot to go on, but the few dealings I've had with him personally, he has been nothing but pleasant, polite and professional.

And I think he is ok as at PA....not over the top, just solid.

Dancin' Don Hall is sublime. He is as wise at his craft as Mike Kennedy is at his. Anybody criticizing his performance hasn't taken the short walk out of Mayberry in their lifetime.

Listen to SIU's PA announcer sometime. One of the WORST flabbers in the Valley. No doubt.
