  • KC Chiefs - Week 15

KC plays Cleveland in what is probably their last best chance to win this year. This game will likely be blacked out in KC.

Question is - is KC done as Pro Sports Town? Should they be done?

They have let their NBA team go. Their MLB is not likely to be good in our lifetime and now the Chiefs, the dependable Chiefs from 1990 to 2005 are now 9-36 and probably aren't going to be a winning time anytime soon.

Chiefs D allows Harrison to run for 286 yards including the game winning 28 yard TD run with less than a minute left.

            Cleveland 41, KC 34

At one point KC receivers had 8 drop passes (Cassel even hit a WR in the face mask, but dropped inclompete because it didn't stick in his facemask).

KC special teams give up 3 KO returns for TD's of 100, 103, and 71 yards. I guess bad teams for creative ways to lose games.

The one that hit Pope in the helmet should have been pass interference. The defender prevented him from bringing his left arm up to attempt to catch the ball.

A few of those 'drops' are on Cassell for throwing the ball behind the recievers.

That is what I was wondering, but I didn't see the replay.

Cassell still make some stupid decisions (but I suppose that is due to his lack of experience) and makes some bad passes, but if a receiver gets 2 hands on a football he still got to catch it regardless if it is not perfect. KC leads the league in drops.

Don't get me wrong, our WRs have dropped way too many. But the stats they give don't tell the whole story is my point. Some of those that are counted as drops are because the ball is thrown poorly but the WR happens to get part of his hand on the ball. Cassell needs to work on his accuracy and lead the freaking WRs better.

^ Agreed, the WR's certainly aren't helping but Cassel definitely needs to be more accurate to make balls more "catchable."

The play that made me lose it was 2 from the end-ball at the 49 with 28 seconds left, no timeouts. What the hell was he doing thtrowing over the middle for a 7 yard gain?!? Is his football IQ that low to make a pass like that? Spike and whoop-de-do they try the hail mary from the 42 instead of the 49. :(

But hey, at least with the high picks on Dorsey and Jackson they're stopping the run, right? lol

yesterday was the worst performance i have ever seen a group of WR have, yes Cassel has had bad games the past few weeks, but yesterday wasnt on him at all. I swear we had 5 straight dropped passes in a row in the 3rd quarter. I have kind of changed my tune, about ranking the needs of this team. I think Dez Bryant would look real good in a chiefs uniform, even tho i craze for Eric Berry.

Dorsey was inactive for the Cleveland game. If anything, how poor we looked without him reflects well on his play.

I'm pretty sure they called their last TO after Bradley's catch & run where he was tripped up over the middle. The play in question then was where a Browns player claimed to have the ball at the end thus delaying KC getting to the line and costing them 5-6 seconds. The clock continued to tick down to 11 seconds before they finally spiked it, then threw the last pass. If they had a TO then its crazy they didn't use it, but as I don't think they did I seriously question Cassel's thought process throwing short over the middle in that situation.

Hatter didn't realize Dorsey was out, I guess that does make me feel a little better about the impact he may be having.
