OKC Thunder

As I was surfing the tv channels, I came across an Oklahoma City Thunder game on FSN Midwest here in Wichita tonight. They lost to the Trailblazers.

Should be interesting if Wichita gets a home NBA team on tv.

Im a mavs fan, but since they have moved to OKC, i have been watching them a little bit and they are close 2nd team of mine. They have alot of good young talent. I think they might fight for the 7th and 8th seed in the west.

I will say this: The NBA and NHL have really missed the boat when it comes to expanding their presence in states like Kansas with no pro teams.

We get Chiefs and Royals which are both in Missouri so why not show the Thunder and Dallas Stars on FSN.

FSN midwest is actually considered a nebraska channel. but yes interesting if they should start showing more Thunder games I would watch.

It looks like the Thunder will be on again tomorrow night. It will be fun to watch this team mature and get better.

While I am a Royals fan and ShockerFever's hard on for the Royals is quite amusing I do agree with him that the frequent "I dont like this and im going to attention whore my opinion at every single mention of this" is quite old.

We get it you dont like the NBA. they dont play "real" basketball whatever the **** that means. But this thread wasnt meant for anybody to come in an start pissing their two cents about their feelings on the NBA in.

I watched the game last night on FSN as well. The Thunder really don't seem to be the typical NBA team. They play tough defense and most the players are in it for the team and not their own personal stats.

that how the most successful teams are built in the NBA especially the last 3 or 4 years. Take Allen Iverson for example, he had to beg a team to give him a contract because no one wanted him.

I'll watch when they play the Lakers tomorrow night...as I am a Lakers fan. Having said that, they have a nice young nucleus of players and I would consider watching the Thunder if it was on regularly.
