Now that Grienke has been named the ALs top pitcher by the Players and the Sporting News as well as the Negro League Museum I'd like to think he's set himself up well to actually win the Cy Young despite playing on a less then stellar team that gave him no run support.

Who made the bet with a friend earlier in the season? Was it you Boston? I think you'd be looking pretty good right now.

Yup I was the one who made the bet back in May that Greinke would win the Cy. Boston fans are too arrogant and ignorant to realize his talent so I decided to capitalize on it. Right now I'm feeling pretty good about the outcome. A short period in the middle of the season I wasn't so confident when he went over a month w/o a win. I just hope he doesn't end up like Tony G. A talent like him needs to play on the game's biggest stage. I just wish Glass would give the fans a sense of hope because I'm not sure what's to look forward to.
