KC Chiefs - Week 3

As much as Brees and NO lit the Eagles up I hope Cassel can at least pass for 250 yards and couple TD's. LJ's got to get some kind of ground game going, too. Before hearding DJ and Bowe may be out I would have given KC some chance, but I think they will make it a game but lose.

If they had either the Eagles or Redskins at home I think they might pull it off, but on the road I'm not so sure, and I don't think they can beat the Giants or Cowboys anywhere (although I would LOVE it if they beat the Cowboys!).

Lots of people with no faith in the Chiefs. My faith is less in the Eagles screwing up, and the Chiefs taking advantage. And either way Shockers Win!

Or should the top priority be to get some skilled players for the 60 million man to throw to?

Or how about getting a defense that doesn't give up 400 to 500 yards against a good team?

So many priorities and not enough picks.

I know this sounds so cliche but the game is won and lost in the trenches. I hope there are some good offensive lineman worthy of very high draft picks.

This is a pretty deep draft for OL. Okung will be Chiefs choice no matter where they end up in the top 3 or 4. Would love to see them trade up again into mid of first round and get another good OL.

The radio announcer made a comment that it appeared to him that it appeared that the defense knew when there was going to be a running play. Could it be that someone in the offense is tipping off the defense that it is a running play as opposed to a pass play or screen. It seems to me that it was indicated last year that Larry Johnson set himself up different for running plays v pass plays just by his demeanor. Perhaps LJ or someone else is doing this and it is subtle enough that the defense is picking up on it but the Chiefs coaching staff has not.
