  • Right Wing University says Global Warming a Natural Cycle

A team of MIT scientists recorded a nearly simultaneous world-wide increase in methane levels -the first increase in ten years. What baffles the team is that this data contradicts theories stating humans are the primary source of increase in greenhouse gas.

Since all worldwide levels rose simultaneously throughout the same year, however, it is probable that this may be part of a natural cycle - and not the direct result of man's contributions.
well MIT is not really right wing, but of course we know what the moonbats play book is on this one.

One thing does seem very clear, however; science is only beginning to get a focus on the big picture of global warming. Findings like these tell us it's too early to know for sure if man's impact is affecting things at "alarming rates."
Oh, no - the KKK must have infilitrated MIT.

Can we have Robert Gibbs debate an MIT scientist? It would be pay-per-view worthy.

            Good ol' "open-mindedness" and "tolerance".

At least that's the virtues I hear endorsed by Rachel Maddow and Keith Olbermann.

Too bad Beck couldn't dress up like Kanye West...

Wizard? Equivalent contemporaries on that side of the spectrum prefer the term "Honorable Minister".

Apparently, this particular speech must have taken place during a Northern Africa safari.

I'll agree Beck can be over the top at times. But open-mindness and tolerance from Maddow and Olbermann?

                      Maybe, I don't watch them.

Wait, no one watches them, look at their ratings! They are wolves in sheeps clothing!

Now go get in line for your Kool Aide!

Getting back on-topic, climate is very complex and we will continue to be surprised by climate research. It is easy to find one or two unexpected examples and declare "global warming" fictitious; this would be foolish.

In the long run (1000-15,000 years), scientists think a new Ice Age is likely to be the big climate problem. However there is disagreement about the mechanism which causes the periodic Ice Ages which have been observed in ice core data, the geologic record (e.g. the existence of the Great Lakes), etc.

If politics is your primary reason to comment on climate change, say whatever you like. If you want to get closer to the truth, look at the consesus view of appropriate scientists.

Don't worry too much about it. Just do all you can do and let the rough end drag.

Personally, I like the more temperate climate we have had here in SC Kansas the last few years. More rain and shorter periods of extreme temperatures have made the area greener.
