Royals acquire Freel from Cubs. Was this really necessary? My brother told me about it last night after my nieces game. I don't see how this really does much. He sounds like a weaker Bloomquist.

However Trey was quoted as saying "He's got most of his time logged in center and second, but he's played a lot of third, left and right. I spoke to him today and he says he's 100 percent health-wise and feels great. His history shows that he's got the ability to steal bases, he's got lateral range and speed. We'll see where he's at when we get him.

Yeah Trey try ancient history. Recent history says he had hamstring surgery last year and has been part of 2 teams just this year alone and hasnt played worth a crap.
Which basically means Tony will at least start 2 games a week and Jacobs will continue to DH while Jose just plays with himself in RF. Trey gets the money shot when hes done.
