Wow did anyone else fall out of their chair laughing at "Senator" Boxer when she told that Military General not to call her ma'am? She wants him to call her "Senator" because as she said, "I have worked SO hard to earn that title."
She is telling a friggin GENERAL that she has worked SO HARD to earn the title of Senator? What hard work was involved in getting elected to the Senate? People donate money to your campaign, you go give a few speeches, and you get elected! Of course going through basic training, boot camp, fighting in wars, being shot at, etc... it all pales in comparison to the "hard work" it takes to earn the title of senator.
