I'm not totally against it. I do wish kids would at least finish HS. And that includes the tennis and golf prodigies and anyone else. But considering the kids talent and the loads of money he's going to get I can't fault them for going this direction. Playing a season at a JUCO will challenge him more than HS ball I'm sure and if he does in fact have success he's set for life. The only way this turns out bad is if he completely fails next season. But based on what we know I doubt that happens.

I was surprised though that the majority support it. I just figured that the results would be the other way.

Best of luck to him is all I have to say. I think it's a mistake to make a kid grow up faster than he should. I wish him the best of luck and hope he does succeed, but history isn't on his side, that's for sure.
