Because there are several different threads discussing the issues this author touches on (largely because our Government has now seen fit to impose itself, under the guise of the “public good” - as it always does, in a various areas of the private sector) I thought I would create a new thread – just for this article from the WSJ. I think it merits extra attention:
The Obama administration is bent on becoming a major player in -- if not taking over entirely -- America's health-care, automobile and banking industries. Before that happens, it might be a good idea to look at the government's track record in running economic enterprises. It is terrible.
