It's been a long, long time since KC had something to cheer for. And this team's performance was very much needed. For the Royals to be looking at a nearly packed house on a Thursday afternoon is also crazy.

I think Wood is a pretty good relief pitcher now. He's still got some good stuff but isn't capable of pitching a lot of innings. He gave KC problems last year if I'm remembering correctly.
