Can you imagine if England held the FA Cup Final or if Europe held the Champions Cup final in America?

    Dumb idea.

They have already overpriced the tickets so that the common fan can't go see their team play in the Super Bowl. Now they want to add in an overseas plane ticket to the deal.

If they wanted to keep the same TV time slot, would that make the kickoff at 11:30pm local time? Bet the players and fans would love that.

London is already getting the next summer olympics in 2012. I don't think this sits to well with the common fan. An overseas flight and hotel plus overpriced tickets. I haven't heard of anyone who has liked this idea yet except for Michael Wilbon.

The reason the World Series and NBA Finals are so awesome is that they are played on home fields. Everybody that's been to NCAA Baseball Regionals and Super Regionals also knows that the atmosphere at those events is way better than the NCAA Basketball Tournament games held at neutral sites.

Neutral site games = no passion.

A neutral site game in another country = say wha?
