DeJesus has two assists this game. One throwing out Dye at home and the other preventing AJ from stretching a single.

I saw both. The assist on Dye was gift-wrapped. Pierzinsky shouldn't be trying to stretch singles into doubles, even ones down the line. But still nice to see KC making the plays.

And Meche is really pitching well. 6 Ks, 0 BBs. Very un-Meche like.

I was thinking the same thing. We just need one good inning from either Cruz or Farsworth to get it to the best closer in the game!

Poor hitting with men on base really hurt. Meche pitched great today. Farnsworth blew it. I hope that I don't hear that too much this year. :banghead:

It wasn't always like this....When I was a kid, I would fall asleep with the transistor radio or even the clock radio at a whisper and listen to Fred White and Denny Mathews. Good God I love baseball and for the past decade or better the Royals have tortured me.
