Royals opening day is actually on FSN. 8)

No radio coverage on KFH so far. But the game is on 93.5FM in Wichita if you can tune it in.

Love hearing Denny Mathews voice on the radio, he is the best in MLB. Coco starts the season off with a lead off single.

Alex Gordan goes yard to put the Royals up 1-0 in the 2nd. Hopefully this is the first of many for him, and he has the kind of season everyone is expecting.

The lineup to me seems a whole lot deeper. Last years Royals player of the year is hitting 9th, and the middle with Guillen and Jacobs is a little scarier than anything the Royals have had in the last few years.

And now Bob Davis comes on, as much as I enjoy Denny Mathews, I just as much can't stand listening to Bob Davis, I wish he would just stick with KU sports and they could find anyone to take his place for Royals games.

They had bases loaded with no outs and only managed one run and couldn't get the ball out of the infield....

Good news is Buehrle only went 5. So we get into their bullpen early. I'm not sure what they really have there, but it makes me happy anyway.

Anyone have any clue what kind of pitch count Meche would be looking at today? I don't normally pay a lot of attention to all that but being the first game and in 45 degree weather I was just wondering when we'd see our 'pen. He's currently at 80 thru 6
