Israel Strikes Hamas

It's been a brutal three days but I really can't blame the Israelis that much. I think they've shown a lot of restraint considering the number of attacks and the pledge of Hamas to destroy Israel. I can only hope that the Palestinian people will eventually step up and stop letting Hamas run their lives.

I've seen polls that show the majority of Palestinians don't agree with Hamas but are too afraid to stand up against them. But progress can be made as things are much better between Israel and the West Bank.

Ground troops have now gone in and surrounded Gaza's largest city. It'll be interesting to see how this plays out. The US has also kept the UN from issuing a pointless demand at a cease fire.

When will people realize that no matter how much land Israel gives up, the Islamo-facist will still terrorize them? It is not the size of Israel that is a problem for Muslims, it is the EXISTANCE of Israel that they have a problem with.
If the PLO and Iran(who funds Hamas) want to continue to terrorize Israel, I say let Israel kill them all! The world would be a better place!

Everytime Israel gives up land it only encourages the terror groups to do more. The Israeli's have no problem living in peace with their neighbors if the others would just allow it. But that's not going to happen.

That's what amazes me about these cries for peace and a cease-fire. When one groups soul purpose is the complete destruction of the other, there is little hope for peace.

The only way this truely ends is with the destruction of Hamas in Gaza.

Potential Leader Wants to Give Away Land. Will some of these people ever learn that the more they give into the terrorists like Hamas the worse it's going to get? Groups like Hamas see every little bit of caring and giving as weakness. If Israel gives up land to Hamas, the terror group will just try to take more and more. Hopefully Livini isn't appointed and Netanyahu is. Israel will be much better under his leadership.

I'm still not completely sure what to think of Abbas. He's definitely better than Arrafat but I'm not sold on him yet. I hope he really does mean well and can convince enough of his people to go along with it.

Rapid escalation in Israel as Gaza pounds Israel with with over 700 rockets since Monday. Hamas has asked for a cease fire. Netanyahu has said Israel will not negotiate a cease fire until it is ready. He says Hamas has crossed a red-line and they will have to now pay a heavy price. It is reported Hammas leaders have went into hiding.

Hamas and Islamic Jihad have paid and will continue to pay for their actions," said Netanyahu. "We are all mourning those killed and praying for those who were injured. We all give our full support to the IDF and Israeli security forces. This campaign will take time."

Hamas is now launching a new barrage of missiles on Israel at this moment.

Israel will not negotiate a ceasefire before Hamas pays a price for its attacks, a senior Israeli official said on Tuesday.


“Hamas fired a bunch of rockets, and then of course they want a ceasefire, that's perfect for them, they don't have to pay a price for firing on Jerusalem and then 500 rockets,” the official said.


“There will be a ceasefire when we're ready for it,” he added.

So much for the progress made under the previous administration. The current administrations love affair with Iran is really going to cause havoc in the middle east.
