    Another vote for Knolla's here.

Also, Il Vicino makes a darn good pie and has a nice, 'have a glass of wine with that', College Hill atmosphere.

The thread is titled 'best pizza in town' for a reason. We know there's better out there.

      Reading comprehension please.. :good:

        Because it's good?

Maybe our mouths don't relate to your caviar taste very well.

That's darn close to a copyright/trademark infringement... nothing like being original.

                ^ True dat

Il Vicino is over by where the old Crest Theatre was located, no?

I will have to give Knolla's a try, but they really need some help with website.

If you're interested in authentic Italian, try Luciano's in Mulvane. Unfortunately, no pizza @ Luciano's. Pizza John's is pretty good, if you like old Pizza Hut original style.

Happy Holidays, Shocker fans! I'm hoping I might get home in time to see the Shocks play North Dakota.

I got a flyer in the newspaper today and it showed only one location for Godfathers (47th/Broadway). Can't believe they are almost completely gone....

There's still a Godfathers at Central & Tyler.

Well then smrtazz what's so good about it?

IMO the thing that makes Defazzio's pizza (and previously Angelos) so good is not only the crust but the homemade ingrediants (namely Italian sausage) that they use throughout their entire menu. I'm pretty sure Knolla's just gets it straight out of a box or bag.

I love DeFazzios....again, especially now that Angelo's is gone.

I can make a pizza like Knolla's.......those places just don't have the love....it's not that it's bad....just not unique.

The Godfather's at Central and Tyler closed a few months ago. Too much road construction for too long and the final straw was the store was robbed. At least that is what I have heard. Talliano's at 13th and Tyler is pretty good as well as the place at Central and Maize.

I went to Knolla's the other day after not having their pizza for several years. I didn't like the taste of it. I think that the sauce is what I don't like. It's a matter of preference. I think thy make a good product, it just doesn't taste that great to me.
