  • Truer words have rarely, if ever, been spoken.....

On yesterday's Meet the Press, President-Elect Barack Obama announced, and I quote, "Things are going to get worse before they get better."

Wow, does he have that right.

Don't let it be said I never complimented the man when he was dead on.

On yet another dissappointing note, LNBC announced that leftwing liberal pansygirl David Gregory would be taking over the host position on what once could be described as a informative tv show.

LNBC is trying as hard as they can to emulate the big 3 automakers. They are doing everything possible to tell us what they think we should like, and failing miserably. Expect them to be asking Washington for a bailout soon.....God knows we cannot allow LNBC to fail.

Whoops, pardon me...allow me to correct that......god knows we cannot allow LNBC to fail.

I can't wait for David's first round table discussion with Oprah Winfrey, Michael Moore, Rosie O'Donnell and just to prove they aren't unfair to the right, probably some famous and informed conservative voice like Jessica Simpson. Should be rivoting.

David Gregory is a no talent windbag who has had it out for the Republicans since Newt Gingrich was in Congress.
Can't think of a better fit for PMSNBC than that girly man.

He is a tool of immense proportions.

At least they didn't choose Rachel Maddow to do the show. I can't stand her, either.

Exactly, we gave Bush and the Republicans 8 years to screw up America, Obama should be given the same amount of time to try and fix their mess...too bad they don't know how to clean up after themselves and leave it to others. Guess that's due to poor parenting?

No matter what lofty ideals politicians may have when they first assume office it usually boils down to doing anything to get RE ELECTED. Doesn't matter which affilitation!!!!!!

Frankly the 8 years of Bush was better than the 8 years of Clinton. It was due to the weaknesses of the Clinton administration that lead to 9/11 and Iraq.

Not much to blame there, Its like taking over the country after the scorched

George Bush (sr) elected not to remove Saddam from power (quite wisely I might add) in Iraq and used a containment strategy. Clinton essentially maintained the same policy. Finally George Bush (jr) invaded Iraq for reasons that, in retrospect, are questionable. Now how can that possibly be Clintons fault??

One of the things I most admired about Reagen was, while not perfect, he addmitted to mistakes on his watch. That was one factor in why I voted for him twice. Its a shame there are not more Republicans like him rather then these blame game types.

Not wanting to get into this food fight, but this really is very interesting, especially all of the stuff that related to Iraq during the Clinton years, which most people have forgotten about:

Because Denny Crane says so Dammit!
