A conservative non-profit organization has completed a study that shows the liberal tsunami on Election Day 2008 was not because the country wanted to move radically to the left, but because voters wanted to punish Republicans for abandoning conservative principles.

This is what conservatives have been saying since George W. started to go soft on domestic issues. Romney and Huckabee splitting the Conservative primary vote didn't help either.

Conservatism works every time it's tried. I just can't believe so many Republicans have misunderstood what worked so well for them in 1994.
