    4. John Brennan - advisor to Obama on National Security (former CIA official)

    2. Susan Rice (former clinton ass. sec. for africa)
    3. James Jones (former Jarhead commandant who was critical of bush admin. handling of afghanistan)

    I actually could see Gates staying on as the sole Republican on the cabinet.

          im not thrilled about Kerry myself. I didnt like him 4 years ago and I dont like him now.

            What happened to the theme of "change" ???

            All I see is a bunch of Clinton administration people being brought back. Obama running a third term for Clinton.

            When Obama says lipstick on a pig, is he talking about Monica?

              I do like Gates in that role IF Obama would have him and IF he'd want to be there.

              I hope Kerry isn't involved at all.

              So many Clinton people make me wonder...

                Why? Kerry always liked the Euro way of life. Maybe he could drag his buddy Jacque Chirac out of retirement. I thought he might score some points with Latin America and appoint Bill Richardson. As much as I disagree with him politically, he might make a decent secretary of state. Not much foreign experience though.
