FL is interesting because the panhandle is in a different time zone and heavily republican. The polls close an hour later so if it's close before they're reporting it'll be interesting. McCain has gained 2% in the last 10 minutes according to RCP.

This is true. It has narrowed. But nobody knows for sure where the current votes have come from. They could have been coming from other Republican areas of the state.

I'm surprised it's narrowed as it had, and you do make a good point about the panhandle, so I'll pull a 2000 and put Florida back into the 'too close to call' column.

Florida will be close but it looks like B.O. It doesn't look like many of the Miami-Dade and Boward County votes have been counted yet and that will be in favor of B.O.

Which ever way it goes, I'm confident the tally will be more accurate than in 2000. No Bush on the ticket on as Gov.
