One comment about Obama's comments. Made in January 2008 during the primary season. Doesn't account for the post nomination flip-flop effect. Capture the nomination, then flip to the center.

You will not see him follow this line if he is so fortunate to be chosen. He can always fall back on the clean-coal line...
