  • Democrats want to get rid of 401Ks

Evidently the democrats would like to tax 401k and eliminate them for Government handle accounts. The reason - were to stupid to know how to invest.

Of course they do! The Dems obviously know how to better handle our money and future than we do. Why should I be in charge of anything that deals with me? That's just silly...

None of the followers care... they just buy into all this and trust everything they are being told.

So some members of Congress want to essentially eliminate my 401k and turn it into a…well a government run savings program? At a rate of return which I seem to recall reading or hearing is 3% -- which incidentally is less than what I currently get in my own savings account.

Huh…just a stab in the dark here but don’t we already have a government program designed to do just that? A government program, which I am sure we can all agree, has been run flawlessly since its inception…..what is it called? The name escapes me….oh…yes…Social Security.

If any of you in Kansas happen to hear thunderous banging coming from the Northeast – don’t be alarmed – it is merely my head violently colliding with my desk.

I would also like to thank W for the gas price going down. Whatever decisions you made, they were spot on!

I would also like to thank W for a very great summer. Keeping down the temperatures to only a few 100 degree days in this global warming crisis was another phoenomenal achievment. Props.

Only about 7 more years to go until the end of the world, per Al Gore. Let's hope Obama doesn't need the full 2 terms to save us all! Keep inflating your tires for the love of man!

Thanks for the low taxes, while they were here. Too bad they are going to expire without a snowballs chance in hell of getting reupped in a year or 2. Oh well, it was nice for awhile, but we really do need to pony up more to the government so they can solve all of these problems once and for all, like poverty, retirement and poor education. They have made so much progress in the past 50 years and however many trillions of dollars, it would be crazy to cut and run now. I would like to thank Obama for enlightening me know on the utter chaos that is America. Man, I thought we were doing fine seeing as how nearly everyone in the country regardless of income has at least 1 TV, a cell phone, a dvd player, money for cigarettes and alcohol and is obese. I would've never guessed that every other person in this country was so desparate for the government to make their lives so much better.
