So, anyway, Overtime, I agree that Royal's Obama-Marx avatar is off the mark -- it should be Marx-Biden instead.

Obama is clearly further to the left than Biden is, and Obama's public regrets that the Supreme Court hasn't done more to redistribute income notwithstanding that doing so is nowhere supported in the Constitiution is definitely in Marxist territory.

Oh – and WSUwatcher – based upon Biden’s recent public statements taken together with his long public record prior to becoming the Democratic Vice-Presidential nominee, I feel confident in stating that I am sure Biden does not know who Karl Marx is…..unless, of course, he remembers the public television address Marx gave in London in 1861.

Good point, Maggie -- and further proof that the Marx in Royal's avatar doesn't apply to him.

Maybe his gaffes aren't well covered by the mainstream media because they want him to be elected; or maybe it's just because there are so many it would take up all the time they'd otherwise spend coming up with new and positive stories about The One.

From his comments, Overtime just sounds like a card-carrying member of the Angry Left. No doubt a lot of reality is objectionable to him.

Down to the wire and republicans are going down fighting...have to give you credit for that...Some of it is amusing though..For example..apparently a progressive income tax system that taxes the rich at 36%..Which McSame favors, is OK but one that taxes the rich at 39% is socialism.....That 3% must be the deal breaker...And Biden's gaffes have occurred...But Palin IS ONE BIG CONTINUOS GAFFE...She is the gift that keeps on giving to Democrats as is reflected in polling.......Obama will govern from the center left with intellect...Something that has been missing for 8 years.....So keep on hurling sleazey epitahs...ITS NOT WORKING...And the offensive Obama Marx avatar is one example of why we are so divided...You Repubs try to demonize everything you don't agree with

I really don't see what is wrong with Royal's Avatar Overtime. I mean after all, this is America, and there is that pesky freedom of expression/freedom of speech issue... 8)

Now when BO becomes president, then I would agree, it is disrespectful, and it should probably change, but until then politics is politics. And this is America...
