  • McCain and Obama Are Virtually Tied in Arizona

Things are not looking good for McCain in his home state.

New Poll Claims McCain Statistically Tied With Obama In Arizona

Washington, D.C. (AHN) - A new poll released on Wednesday echoed pundits' recent claims that Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) is in danger of losing in his home state to Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL).

A survey from Arizona State University said the Republican senator now only leads nominally by two points, or 46-44 percent. A month ago, McCain led by seven points, and by double-digits in summer.

wishful thinking. This same poll in 2004 showed Kerry even with Bush in 2004 - Bush won 55-45. All polls except this one shows McCain winning comfortably in Arizona.

Not even close thats why McCain is running robo calls in Arizona

John McCain and the Republican National Committee are now running robocalls attacking Obama as weak on terrorism -- in McCain's home state of Arizona

The call signals genuine worry about McCain's home state at a time when several polls show the race to be much closer than expected there.
Come on like the huffington post is hardly reputable. It's for the kool aid drinkers.

There are 3 polls. 1 poll that shows McCain with a comfortable lead and another shows it close but doesn't have a good reputation of doing quality polling. And then there is Rasmussen has it 51 to 46. McCain favorables is 59% with Arizona voters. Obama Unfavorable is 50%.

If Obama thought it was close, he would be running ads (we all know he's got plenty of money from illegal campaign contributions) :D
