From the Wikipedia article on Rashid Khalidi under Obama Relationship:

In May of 2008, Barack Obama spoke at a synagogue at an event in Boca Raton, Florida and the question of his relationship with Khalidi was brought up. In response, Obama stated that “[Khalidi] is Palestinian. And I do know him and I have had conversations. He is not one of my advisors; he’s not one of my foreign policy people. His kids went to the Lab school where my kids go as well. He is a respected scholar, although he vehemently disagrees with a lot of Israel’s policy... To pluck out one person who I know and who I’ve had a conversation with who has very different views than 900 of my friends and then to suggest that somehow that shows that maybe I’m not sufficiently pro-Israel, I think, is a very problematic stand to take…So we gotta be careful about guilt by association.”

Gee…this sounds remarkably similar to all of Obama’s responses regarding questionable (depending upon your point of view) “associations”.

At some point the argument that BO is only "loosely" associated with just this one unsavory individual, fails when the sheer mass and volume of such connections adds up to a crystal clear networking modus operandi.

This should worry the American public, without regard to political affiliation and like/dislike of BO's opponent JM, but for some reason it doesn't. The mass of lemmings is so caught up in fluffy speeches and rhetoric that they're willing to disavow all knowledge and developments contrary to their savior.

^^^^ Throw on your Birkenstocks and suck down a roach, it's going to be a great four years.

I really don't get how anyone mentally sane can support Obama.

How can a sane person continue to support the current Republican Candidate too?

I don't know anybody, that knows anybody, that knows even 1 of these SOBs.

              1 ok......2 mmmmm ok I guess........3 what's going on here?

All of these? Something is not right.

I can't believe we are about to elect someone that is about 10 steps left of HILLARY CLINTON!

Btw, "79 posted Obama's response that kind of goes unnoticed. Obama, in trying to dismiss the legitimacy of the relationship, describes him as, and I quote, "A respected scholar". He also says, and again I quote "he vehemently disagrees with a lot of Israel’s policy".

He says the POS is a respected scholar. He ain't respected by me, folks. I doubt he is respected my many patriotic Americans and I can damned assure you he isn't respected by anyone that is Jewish.

That is a comment that screams, "I am not going to say anything bad about this guy while I do the Potomac Two Step".

The second part, if you want to read into it a little and take a little creative license, he doesn't say that he disagrees with it...just that it disagrees with Isreal's policy.....that isn't exactly a ringing endoresment for Isreal's policy.......which by the way the other side of Isreal's "policy" is TERRORISM.

                What?

One reason may be because he gave his blood and guts for you and me! :good:

It looks like McCain also has ties to Rashid Khalidi.

McCain criticizes paper for not releasing tape

McCain also has ties to Khalidi through a group that Khalidi helped found 15 years ago. The Center for Palestine Research and Studies has received more than $800,000 from an organization that McCain chairs.
The Center for Palestine Research and Studies conducted regular public opinion surveys in the West Bank and Gaza with financial support from various foundations and from the International Republican Institute, McCain's organization for promoting democracy around the world.

Under McCain's leadership, the IRI gave at least $838,494 to Khalidi's group in 1988 and 1999, according to the IRI's tax returns.
