I don't have the link right now, but earlier this week the Obama campaign and the DNC failed to provide evidence of his citizenship at a trial against them in Pennsylvania, brought by a Democrat lawyer licensed to practice in the SCOTUS. Their failure to supply the documents is a legal admission to the claims of the plaintiff.
We may find out just how much power is left in the Constitution.

Someone does know something I don't know but it is not relevant here. BO will not keep all of his pie in the sky promises, but that's not the problem. Most politicians don't.
There are 3 main problems with this election. First and foremost, the Republican party has put forth a great man but a candidate that the people cannot figure out and a man who, outside of a risky but tremendous pick for VP (whom they have totally misused) has run about as bad a campaign as we have seen ever.
Two, Obama's MANY associations with fringe whackjobs continue to surface with little if any rebuttle from the messiah. Why not at LEAST throw Ayers under the bus? At least this home grown terrorist....whom he wrote a blurb for on Ayers' book....can you not at least say "I didn't realize his background, I am sickened by what he did, I am embarrassed I didn't know but I'm sorry and I call on him to apologize to the American people"? Why not? You decide......it seems obvious and scary to me.
Three, and BY FAR most importantly, the economy. Redistribution of wealth, raising taxes (especially in a down economy), trusting government and not the American people in a time where there is entirely too much apathy in our country already, socialized healthcare....thinly veiled socialism, an untested and dangerously weak foreign policy mantra.
I hope and pray that the American people are strong enough to overcome a DC overrun with the liberal left.....I believe we are but I fear that too many of us will expect them to fix everything which I PROMISE you isn't going to happen. The only people that are going to be better off in 4 years are the people you elect and send to Washington.

rr,
I think it's beyond a doubt that Obama has run a tremendous campaign. However, I do believe that if the other side would have put forth a better option and ran a campaign 3/4s as good as Obama (instead of 1/4) then we would be looking at a different outcome.

The fact that the liberal media will allow Barry and Biden to say anything they want without any accountability, coupled with the fact that McCain has not done a good job of campaigning, yet most polls are almost within the margin of error is incredible.
How can Barry continue to say this is the worst economy since the great depression? Why doesn't McCain or the media challenge that by talking about the glorious Carter years?Kick 'em square in the grapes! (that can be very painful)

Mc'Bush never had a chance to win. If you want to see a fair competition, both parties need to put forth a likable candidate. Once this happens we can get down to policies and not stay hung up on appearances/personality. The American people could care less if Obama was running on a communist ticket (slight exaggeration), many would still vote for him because he is likable and intelligent. NOBODY likes McCain including many from his own party. McCain is Bob Dole #2. Put a young, sharp, charming republican from Texas (amazing that W. fit that description once) in the campaign and we have a whole different ballgame.
McCain tried to appeal to the superficial side of America by picking up Palin, but he went a wee bit too superficial. No way are the American people going to chance having Palin run the United States... rofl.
