  • Al-Qa'ida-linked website backs McCain as president

    8)
Al-Qa'ida supporters suggested in a website message this week they would welcome a pre-election terror attack on the US as a way to usher in a McCain presidency.

The message, posted on Monday on the password-protected al-Hesbah website, said if al-Qa'ida wants to exhaust the United States militarily and economically, "impetuous" Republican presidential candidate Senator John McCain is the better choice because he is more likely to continue the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Yes I beleieve US intelligence is probably taking it very serious. I only worry that the current admin. will find the time to be briefed.

KB, you'll have to forgive me if I'm intepreting your response incorrectly. It looks like to me like GOP-glasses-wearing, go-USA response. One that, ironically, is a flip-flop from what it would be if that story was about AQ supporting Obama. In that case, the GOP sycophants would be saying, "look, look, the enemy wants Obama because they think he'll have a weak foreign-policy. Vote McCain!"

I don't know how many times I've heard war supporters say we can't pull out because we'll be bolstering the enemy. Well, we're bolstering them everyday we're there because their goal is to bankrupt our country.

kc, not a problem. At least this one is getting a little discussion.
