Anyone want to actually read it and discuss the author's analysis and market predictions?

The whole Martial Law thing is a little hard to believe without more sources.

Kind of hard to believe a representative would just make that up and then go out and say it then on C-SPAN.

Rep. Major Owens went on "C-SPAN" say to that 200 million slaves on their way to America had been thrown overboard during the slave trade and that this had changed the ecology of the ocean to the point that sharks still swam the old trade routes in the hope of finding more bodies to feed upon.

Sen. Richard Durbin went on "C-SPAN" to compare our soldiers treatment of detainees to those done by "Nazis, Soviets in their gulags, or some mad regime -- Pol Pot or others -- that had no concern for human beings."

Rep. Barney Frank went on "C-SPAN" to say "I don’t see anything in this report that raises safety and soundness problems", during a hearing that reported wide-spread mismanagement and possible fraud at Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

Well, you listed a bunch of nut jobs. The question I would ask is Sherman (a democrat from CA) a nutjob? I don't know and maybe he is and that would explain it.

But here is the problem, with the amount of fear mongering and sky is falling routine going on, I can easily hear them saying something like what Sherman said they did.

There are some that are arguing that "Martial Law" has already been imposed on the U.S. financial institutions.
