Maybe ABC can answer this one. Who is paying for all of her travel to campaign for Obama? Is she getting unpaid leave or paid leave? Or is she still in governor status? How about state aides that travel with her-same questions?

I am sure the Obama campaign is paying for the travel.
I would guess that she is not taking vacation days.
Her campaign or her office is possibly paying for any aides to travel with her, though I doubt it.
I will investigate and see what I can find out.

If KS takes a cabinet position with BO, it does set up some interesting scenarios for 2010.
First, current Lite Gov. Mark Parkinson would be Gov. Mark was GOP party chairman as recent as 2002. He will certainly run for the Democrat nomination in 2010. He is likely to have a primary opponent in current House Minority Leader Dennis McKinney, a WSU graduate who represents the Greensburg area. McKinney has the reputation of being a conservative Democrat, but his voting record is more center-left than center.
The likely Republican nominee is Sam Brownback.
If KS take a cabinet position, would she leave it only 1 or 2 years in to run for the Brownback's open Senate seat?
There will be a Republican primary for that seat too. Reps. Tiahrt and Moran are both likely candidates.

Sam will be the man in 2010. Although declaring for a primary to support a Shocker would be an interesting thought and then returning to previous status. Things that make you go hmmmmm...“Losers Average Losers.” ― Paul Tudor Jones

I hope Moran runs for Senate. I'd rather have him than the two we have now.
And I also want Sebelius gone, even though she has hit her term limit anyways.
