I'm excited about a forum that we will air on Sports Radio 1410 KGSO Saturday morning, and I want to make sure you are all aware of it. We are airing a forum concerning Wichita State Shocker football...we will have players from the 1970 team and the 1986 team, along with other alumni...Brad Justice, creator of the latest effort to get Shocker football back at Cessna Stadium, will also be with us. The discussion will focus on memories of Shocker football, and we will also gauge the interest that the former players have in bringing it back.
I hope you all help support Brad's idea. Believe me...his passion for this project is unmatched. The time and money he has committed to this is amazing. This project is picking up steam, and KGSO wants to help keep it going. Please join us at 9am Saturday morning for this special show!

This sounds VERY exciting. Now we need a big spokesman in the community. I would approach George Fahnestock. He is very forward-thinking and seems to always be in the midst of moving Wichita forward. I spoke with him many times during the arena campaign and the celebration party and he is genuinely excited about Wichita and Wichita State.

Next pick up the Devlins, the Downings etc. etc.

I don't think "Chuckles" Koch will participate.
