  • **Strike continues and not so much as a peep from Boeing**

The strike is entering its second month and Boeing is still silent.

Personally I couldn't be happier. I hope that these spoiled, lazy, uneducated machinists suffer financial ruin and lose their homes.

After this happens I would hope that Boeing lays down an ultimatum for employees to return to work in one week under the original proposed contract MINUS ALL SIGNING BONUSES.

For this "union of idiots" to reject a contract offer that rivals any other union contract in the nation during a possible recession shows just how far their heads are shoved up their asses.

yep, and boeing couldn't care any less...from what i understand, the penalty being paid to awaiting customers is quite small. in my opinion, unions had a place...in the 1920s. if i don't like where i work, i look elsewhere.

Unions still have a place in some places, just not this one.

The company isn't going to back down. This will end up in arbitration, and from what I have seen and heard about arbitration, you're gonna end up with what was originally offered most of the time. They'll just end up being out all that money for the same thing, or maybe even less.
