I think Pickens would investigate how many one dorm universities have a successful football program, then shy away from investing.

Can we get this as part of the bailout? I'm sure an extra few million would hardly be noticed! I'll sign, I miss not having football in the fall. When I was a kid I went with my dad and it was fun, win or lose.

As I was forwarding the link to my dad another selling point occured to me. I think many people are getting sick of the overpaid pro's and watching more college sports. It started with basketball where I think the pro interest really dropped, whereas people are passionate about college basketball. Its starting in baseball, I know I follow WSU but could not care less about pro ball. Football is popular but I could see the trend continuing and people being more likely to attend a local college football game for the "atmosphere" than forking out big $ to attend a pro game. The timing could be good right now for a push to make this happen!

Great idea, ole Todd Tiahart ought to be able to get a little Pork in this thing for WSU what is another 40 or 50 million to get this thing going in the right direction.
