Jumping Joe Biden on Israel and Iran

Democratic vice-presidential candidate Joseph Biden was quoted by Army Radio Monday as telling senior Israeli officials behind closed doors that "Israel will have to reconcile itself with the nuclearization of Iran."

Perplexing, because you have to ask why would somebody in the Israeli military command make this up - and I'm not saying they aren't. Only options I could think of:

1. Somebody in the Israeli military/government want to attack Iran before next year

2. The Israeli government doesn't like the prospects of a Obama-Biden presidency and are trying turn support for Jewish Americans to McCain through fear mongering.

3. It was really said.

I don't think that Israel will will live with the nuclearization of Iran.

They will take care of the problem just like they did with Syria last year.

I have serious doubts about that being true. Someone is probably hacked off at someone else and they're taking it out on Biden and Obama.
